What’s on at Tech Central
Tech Central is Sydney’s innovation precinct, stretching from Haymarket through to South Eveleigh. It’s home to the biggest concentration of startup hubs, university campuses, and event spaces in the city, most of them within walking distance of Central Station.
The Tech Central Innovation Hub at 477 Pitt Street is the anchor, run by Stone & Chalk. Nearby you’ll find UTS and its startup programs, EnergyLab for climate tech, the Quantum Terminal at Central Station, and coworking spaces like Haymarket HQ and Ideas Space at Darling Square. If there’s a tech event on tonight, chances are it’s happening somewhere in this precinct.
