Oceania EduX Hackathon 2026 (4.2-4.9) - AI X Education Hackathon from Cambridge
Week-long hackathon where educators and developers team up to build AI tools for real classroom challenges, with mentorship from Cambridge and Microsoft.
You'll spend seven days building AI solutions to real classroom problems alongside educators, researchers, and fellow developers. Teams form on opening day at Microsoft Sydney, then collaborate remotely across Oceania before presenting at Demo Day at UTS. The challenges come from experienced practitioners like Dan Hart (who led NSW Education's AI rollout) and researchers from CSIRO and the Australian Institute for Machine Learning, so you're solving problems that actually matter. Mentorship and no-code workshops mean non-technical people contribute meaningfully. Winning teams get Azure credits, Microsoft startup pathways, and internship opportunities with Cambridge University Press & Assessment.
